Jack came to us from C&F Bantams in Collins MO. When I opened the shipping box I knew instantly we had purchased a very special bird. Jack went Best of Show at the 2008 Nez Perce County Fair. He has an awesome crest, sheddy tight wings, excellent toes and foot feathering.

~HENS & PULLETS~

Pretty Butterfly the least showy hen of our flock but she has earned her place as 1st in the line up because she was here first and is a wonderful little momma hen. Lays lots of eggs and she is broody, broody, broody.....she would hatch out crocodile eggs if you let her. She also is nice and small and has a short back, large eyes, and correct toes. So, she's not perfect but has her redeeming qualities.

Absolutely stunning young hen from C&F Bantams in Missouri. Julia took a first at the 2008 Nez Perce County Fair and will be shown again in 2009. She is an exquisite bird.

This pullet has a nice shot back and huge eyes. Nice full cushion.

This young Orpington was bought from our farm supply store to keep "Smokie" company as a chick. She remained true friends until fall of 08 and now I see she has teamed up with "Buffy" (below). Well, you know the saying - "Birds of a feather..."

Ahhhh the best for last. :-)  We LOVE this chicken. She is a very good layer but is also very friendly and will follow you around. We got Buffy from Sundance Stock Farm in McMinnville, OR. Thanks Steve and Terry!
